Health plans. Whirlpool offers two consumer-driven health plan options. Both plans offer free in-network preventive care, low premiums and innovative programs to help you manage your personal health. The Health Savings Account option also offers significant tax advantages so that you can pay fewer taxes on the money you spend on health care.

A Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) is also available in certain locations.

Our 401(k) Savings Plan offers a tax-deferred way to set money aside automatically each month. The company provides an automatic contribution of 3% of eligible pay each year. The automatic company contribution will be paid in Whirlpool common stock. These contributions are pre-tax, and earnings on the investments are tax deferred.

The plan offers a variety of investment fund choices to give your savings earning power. And if you leave Whirlpool down the road? You take the full value of your contributions, the portion of Whirlpool contributions you own (based on years of service) and any earnings with you.
